Marky “Markyyyyy” Capacio became the second Filipino to join MPL Indonesia after signing with Bigetron Alpha, Sunday.
The organization made the announcement on its Youtube channel.
Markyyyyy will reinforce a Bigetron Alpha squad that was coming off a 5th-6th place finish in the MPL Indonesia Season Nine.
The team barely made it into the playoffs, finishing with a 6-8 win-loss standing in the regular season – good for sixth place. Bigetron Alpha suffered a first round exit after losing to Aura Fire in five games.
Markyyyyy, meanwhile, helped ONIC PH reach fourth place in the MPL Philippines Season Nine. The team lost to eventual grand finalist Omega Esports in the lower bracket semifinals via sweep.
He capped off Season Nine with a 3.03 KDA while also tallying a total of 116 kills, 112 deaths, and 223 assists throughout the tournament.
In Indonesia, Markyyyyy will join former ONIC PH teammate Kairi “Kairi” Rayosdelsol and coach Denver “Yeb” Miranda, who are both with ONIC Esports.
