Baloyskie, Markyyyyy qualify to M5 after leading Geek Fam to first-ever MPL ID finals

Allen “Baloyskie” Baloy and Marky “Markyyyyy” Carpaccio are the third set of Filipino imports heading back to the Philippines and compete in the grandest stage of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang.

The former ONIC PH duo helped Geek Fam avert a massive blunder in the lower bracket finals, taking a 3-2 triumph over Bigetron Alpha to qualify to the grand finals of the MPL Indonesia Season 12, Saturday at the Mahaka Square.

Geek Fam was coming off a heartbreaking 3-2 loss against ONIC Esports in the upper bracket finals.

Now, the team will get a chance to avenge their loss when they take on the Kairi “Kairi.” Rayosdelsol-squad in a best-of-seven grand finals series tomorrow, Sunday at the same venue.

See You Soon’s Clarense “Kousei” Camilo and Michael “MP the King” Endino are the first set of overseas Filipino players to punch their ticket to the M5 World Championships after winning the title in MPL Cambodia followed by ONIC Esports’ Kairi and coach Denver “Yeb” Miranda.
