After four years away, Stephen “The Sniper” Loman is making his long-awaited return to BRAVE Combat Federation.
The 30-year-old Filipino fan favorite has officially signed a multi-bout agreement with the world’s fastest-growing and most global mixed martial arts organization, reigniting a partnership that helped launch his career to international acclaim.
“Stephen is more than just a former World Champion in our ranks. He is family, a BRAVE CF pioneer, and one of the finest athletes to ever compete in our cage,” said BRAVE CF President Mohammed Shahid.
“We are thrilled to welcome him back and confident that his career is in excellent hands with BRAVE CF.”
Loman has been a cornerstone of the Bahrain-based promotion since the very first event in September 2016, when he defeated Frans “The Black Mamba” Mlambo by unanimous decision in the initial encounter of their rivalry.
His defining moment came at BRAVE CF 9: THE KINGDOM OF CHAMPIONS in November 2017, where he captured the inaugural BRAVE CF Bantamweight World Championship with a first-round technical knockout over Gurdarshan “Saint Lion” Mangat.
He held the coveted crown for an incredible 1,179 days, defending it successfully four times. One of the most memorable defenses came in front of a passionate Filipino crowd at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in March 2019, where he knocked out former featherweight kingpin Elias “Smile” Boudegzdame in the fourth round.
In 2021, Loman took his talents to ONE Championship, signing a multi-fight contract with the Singapore-based promotion.
He won his first three fights there, defeating Yusup Saadulaev, Shoko Sato, and former champion Bibiano Fernandes.
His last bout came on September 30, 2023, when he lost a unanimous decision to John Lineker.
Following that fight, ONE Championship did not schedule him for any additional matches despite being healthy.
“The Sniper” boasts an undefeated record in BRAVE CF, standing at 6-0 inside the cage, and an overall professional slate of 17-3, including six knockouts and two submissions.
Expressing his excitement about returning to the promotion that shaped his career, Loman shared, “I am extremely happy to be back home with BRAVE CF. I am grateful to BRAVE CF for welcoming me back and giving me the chance to continue my journey in the organization that helped me grow as a fighter. Yes, I’m happy to say that I’m back home.”
With the bantamweight throne currently held by Serbian superstar Borislav Nikolić, the Lions Nation MMA representative has set his sights on reclaiming the seat of power that once belonged to him. Loman is anticipated to suit up for action in 2026.
