Team Liquid PH secures top-four finish in M7 after win over Aurora Gaming


Team Liquid PH secured at least a top-four finish after eliminating Turkey’s Aurora Gaming, 3-1, in the lower bracket quarterfinals of the M7 World Championship Knockout Stage on Friday at the MPL Arena XO Hall in Jakarta, Indonesia.

After taking a 2-1 lead in the series, the Filipinos found themselves trailing by as much as 8,300 in gold, but Kiel “Oheb” Soriano’s heroics on Claude turned the tide.

Team Liquid will now face the winner of Indonesia’s Alter Ego and Europe’s Team Spirit for a spot in the lower bracket finals.
