The Philippines secured direct qualification in both the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang and VALORANT events of the 2026 Esports Nations Cup after accumulating enough ranking points during the qualification period.
The country’s ML:BB squad topped the qualification rankings with 11,200 points, comfortably ahead of Indonesia’s 7,100, to earn an outright berth in the tournament.
The Philippine VALORANT team also secured automatic qualification after placing ninth in the rankings with 4,875 points.
Only the top 15 nations in each title advanced directly, with ranking points determined by the participating players’ performances and tournament results throughout the qualification window.
Bannering the Philippine ML:BB team are Team Liquid PH’s Karl “KarlTzy” Nepomuceno, Alston “Sanji” Pabico, and Jaypee “Jaypee” Dela Cruz; Team Falcons PH’s David “FlapTzy” Canon, Stephen “Super Marco” Requitiano, and Rowgien “Owgwen” Unigo; along with Duane “Kelra” Pillas and Kairi “Kairi” Rayosdelsol.
Francis “Duckey” Glindro, who oversees Team Falcons PH’s Southeast Asia division, will serve as head coach.
Leading the Philippine VALORANT roster are Global Esports’ Patrick “PatMen” Mendoza and Xavier “xavi8k” Juan, alongside Adrian “invy” Reyes of Paper Rex.
They will be joined by Team Secret’s Jhian “Zeus” Vega and Kelly “kellyS” Sedillo, Oasis Gaming’s Mark “Markyyy” Tuling, and Jade Lions’ Brheyanne “Wild0reoo” Reyes.
Jose “Rbtx” Jamir of Team Secret will serve as head coach.
Meanwhile, the Philippines’ League of Legends squad also qualified for the Esports Nations Cup after defeating Singapore, 2-0, in the lower bracket final of the Southeast Asia & Oceania Qualifier.
The team is composed of Reven “Relhia” Aloi, Joshua “Devoured” Escucharo, Cherv Zildjan “Agrona” Dorado, Kyle “Dawn” Somera, Jan “Cresho” Hortizuela, and Edrian “DoeDoii” Brancia, with Ralph “Leathergoods” Llabres serving as head coach.
