Bigetron Alpha signs Light, E2MAX for MPL ID 15

By: Jan Marcus Montevirgen

Bigetron Alpha has signed Dylan “Light” Catipon and Patrick “E2MAX” Caidic to their roster for the upcoming MPL Indonesia Season 15.

The announcement was made on Saturday evening through the team’s official social media accounts.

This move reunites Light with his former RSG Philippines teammate Eman “EMANN” Sangco, who joined Bigetron as an import after leaving RSG PH last year.

Before RSG Philippines disbanded and relinquished its MPL PH franchise slot on January 23, Light and EMANN played crucial roles in securing three championship titles for the organization.

RSG PH first claimed the MPL PH Season 9 championship, defeating Smart Omega 4-1 in the grand finals.

A month later, they continued their dominance on the international stage, winning the MSC 2022 title, where EMANN was named Finals MVP.

The duo also contributed to RSG’s triumph at the 2023 ONE Esports MPL Invitational, securing a commanding 3-1 victory over ECHO (now Team Liquid Philippines) in the grand finals.

Meanwhile, E2MAX embarks on his first international coaching stint and his third coaching role overall.

He previously coached ONIC Philippines in MPL PH Season 12, where they finished fifth after a 3-1 loss to Blacklist International in the Play-Ins.

Last season, he was with TNC, which ended at the bottom of the standings with a historic 0-14 record—the worst in MPL PH history.

With Bigetron’s roster now finalized, Light and E2MAX will make their debuts at the Snapdragon Pro Series Season 6 APAC – Challenge Finals, set to take place from February 10 to 16 in Johor, Malaysia.
