TNT is going all-out in its mission to nurture the potential of young Filipino hoopers with the launch of “RHJ On Tour,” a free basketball clinic led by former NBA player and three-time PBA Best Import Rondae Hollis-Jefferson.
Fresh off back-to-back PBA championships and proudly wearing their new Tropang 5G jerseys, RHJ and the entire TNT Tropang Giga team have been actively looking for ways to give back to their loyal fans.
RHJ On Tour, currently being held in Metro Manila and selected provinces, is a key initiative toward that goal.
Open to young basketball players from across the Philippines, the clinic offers participants the rare opportunity to learn firsthand from Hollis-Jefferson, who shares valuable knowledge and skills to advance youth basketball development. Joining him in the tour are TNT stars Jayson Castro, team manager Jojo Lastimosa, and coaches Ranidel de Ocampo and Bong Ravena.
The tour kicked off on June 7 in Quezon City and will continue across various locations every weekend until the end of July.

“This is something truly special for me as I have become quite a Filipino by heart playing for Tropang 5G. I look at this basketball tour as a huge opportunity to share my experience and push young Filipino players to chase their dreams and become the future of the game,” said the 30-year-old import, who played six seasons in the NBA after being selected 23rd overall by the Portland Trail Blazers in the 2015 NBA Draft.
As the first leg of the tour wrapped up, RHJ expressed his gratitude to the participants and the community:
“I want to thank everyone who came in to show support and I’m grateful that the kids brought the energy. They had a lot of fun. We were able to talk about the most important things in life: school, family, having fun, and being able to enjoy basketball. We talked about the importance of being able to listen and respect their parents and take in all the knowledge from school because these things take us much further.”
Castro, RDO, Coaches Answer RHJ’s Call
RHJ’s call to action resonated with his teammates, who eagerly stepped in to support the tour. Five-time PBA Best Player of the Conference and three-time Finals MVP Jayson Castro didn’t hesitate to get involved. Although currently sidelined due to injury, Castro remains a vital presence on the TNT bench and was determined not to miss the opportunity to connect with young fans.
“We do what we do because of our KaTropas, and this is also an opportunity for me to share what I can with more young players. With the help of RHJ and our other coaches — Ranidel, coach Jolas, and coach Bong — we want to reach as many kids as possible to support their dreams and love for the game,” Castro said.
A Commitment to Youth Development
For the TNT brand, RHJ On Tour is part of a broader commitment to cultivating the next generation of Filipino athletes.
“TNT and Smart have always championed youth basketball, a sport that’s ingrained in our DNA. We are happy to do our part and go around the country — and maybe even discover promising young athletes along the way,” said Lloyd R. Manaloto, FVP for Brand Marketing at Smart Communications, Inc.
The tour also coincides with TNT’s 25th anniversary, which is being celebrated through exciting promos, exclusive rewards, and memorable experiences designed to bring even more saya (joy) to its subscribers.
Powered by TNT 5G, RHJ On Tour empowers young athletes to elevate their game by staying connected to the latest trends, drills, and plays; watching motivational basketball videos; learning from success stories; and staying inspired by peers who push them to be their best.
