Tucker Molina will no longer suit up for Mapua University.
The 6-foot-6 Filipino-American guard has decided to turn professional, signing a two-year deal with Abra Solid North for the 2026 MPBL season.
Familya Washington director Erik Quintana confirmed the development to Tiebreaker Times.
Molina spent his first three collegiate years at NAIA school Arizona Christian. He first made a name for himself locally during the 2025 Sinag Liga Asya Junior World Showcase, leading United Legacy Ascend to the championship and earning tournament MVP honors.
Originally, Molina had committed to Mapua. However, a meeting with Weavers owner Cong. JB Bernos ultimately changed his decision.
His move continues a recent trend of Cardinals leaving Mapua for either Jose Rizal University or Abra Solid North.
Last year, Chris Hubilla and Lawrence Mangubat left for JRU, joined early this year by Joe Gulapa.
