Barangay Ginebra San Miguel has made a key move ahead of the 2026 PBA Commissioner’s Cup.
The Kings have traded 6-foot-6 stretch big man Ben Adamos to the Terrafirma Dyip in exchange for 6-foot-8 forward Kemark Carino.
Multiple sources confirmed the development to Tiebreaker Times, with the trade papers already submitted to the PBA office for approval.
Carino, a San Beda product who suited up for Aomori during the 2021–22 B.League season, was selected 13th overall in the 2023 PBA Draft.
In his rookie campaign, he earned spots on both the All-Defensive Team and the All-Rookie Team.
However, he sustained an ACL tear last year that forced him to miss the entire PBA Season 49.
Carino is now on track for a full recovery and is expected to return in time for the Commissioner’s Cup.
Meanwhile, Adamos heads to his sixth PBA team in just five years.
The Perpetual standout was drafted by Alaska in 2021, later absorbed by Converge, and subsequently dealt to Phoenix, NLEX, and most recently, Ginebra in 2024.
Last conference, Adamos played in four games.
