Meralco has activated its original import ahead of its rivalry game against Ginebra in the 2026 PBA Governors’ Cup.
The Bolts have replaced Antonio Hester in their lineup, activating Jordon Varnado.
Varnado suffered a “minor injury” days before Meralco’s conference-opening game against Phoenix Super LPG on July 15, which the Bolts lost, 98-97.
Hester was brought in as Varnado’s replacement while the latter recovered.

Hester played six games for Meralco, averaging 22.83 points and 10.67 rebounds per game.
However, the Bolts currently sit last in Pool B with a 2-5 record.
Meralco faces the Gin Kings at the SMART Araneta Coliseum on Friday in the final game before the PBA takes a break to give way to Gilas Pilipinas Men’s campaigns in the FIBA World Cup 2027 Asian Qualifiers and the 2026 Asian Games.
