Bryan Sajonia injury prompts Titan Ultra to rework Joshua Munzon-TNT trade

In the wake of Bryan Sajonia’s injury, Titan Ultra has nixed its transaction with TNT involving Joshua Munzon.

With Sajonia out for the remainder of the 2026 PBA Governors’ Cup and the early stages of Season 51, the Giant Risers are looking for more players from the Tropang 5G in exchange for Munzon.

“Kulang na kami ng players,” said a source within the Titan Ultra organization.

Aside from Sajonia, Mark Omega is also expected to miss an extended period after suffering a bad fall on August 5 during Titan Ultra’s win over Macau.

The version of the trade that Titan Ultra backed out of would have sent Munzon to TNT in exchange for seldom-used rookie Joe Celzo and a first-round pick in the PBA Season 53 Draft.

Munzon is averaging 15.0 points, 4.75 rebounds, and 1.25 steals in eight games for Titan Ultra.

The original version of the trade that TNT, on the other hand, shut down would have sent Rey Nambatac and Poy Erram to Titan Ultra in exchange for Munzon and Jeo Ambohot.

Everything will remain fluid between Titan Ultra and TNT over the next couple of months, with the Tropang 5G still dead-set on acquiring Munzon.

The Giant Risers, meanwhile, are making everyone else available except for their first-round and three second-round picks in the upcoming PBA Season 51 Draft.

If there’s one player Titan Ultra is eyeing from TNT, though, it’s Jordan Heading, who is putting up 16.67 points, 2.67 rebounds, and 3.50 assists for TNT.
