AP Bren bows to Bigetron Alpha as no PH team makes Snapdragon finals

AP Bren bowed out of the Snapdragon Pro Series Season 3 SEA – Challenge Finals campaign in the lower bracket finals on Sunday afternoon.

The Aces Pro-backed squad couldn’t stop Bigetron Alpha’s determination to eliminate all Filipino teams from the competition. The Indonesian squad eliminated RSG PH and ECHO in the lower bracket before booting out AP Bren.

Bigetron Alpha reached match point right away after ending the first two games in just 28 minutes in total, losing only a single turret while also escaping a tight affair against AP Bren in the opener.

Down on their last lifeline, AP Bren failed to answer Bigetron Alpha’s aggression led by SUPER Vynn.

The former RRQ Hoshi roamer’s initiations allowed Dicky “Saken” Cahyana’s Brody and I “Xorizo” Dwipayana’s Paquito to eliminate four members of Bren at the eighth-minute mark of Game 3, which eventually sealed the deal.

Bigetron Alpha’s star roamer tallied five assists and a kill against one death, while Saken and Xorizo combined for five kills and five assists in the pivotal Game 3.

Bigetron Alpha will face Kairi “Kari” Rayosdelsol and Coach Paul “Yeb” Miranda’s ONIC Esports in the grand finals later in the day. (Jan Marcus Montevirgen)
