Benedict “Bennyqt” Gonzales finally got his first major individual award, claiming the Finals Most Valuable Player award after steering ECHO to the M4 World Championship title, Sunday at the Tennis Indoor Senayan.
The 21-year-old star gold laner tallied a total of 19 kills and 16 assists against just five deaths in the four-game series.
To start the series off, he delivered a game-best seven kills with only one death on Lunox in ECHO’s 13-4 Game One win in 14 minutes and 42 seconds.
His biggest performance was without a doubt his 8-1-1 explosion in Game Two. He helped the MPL PH Season 10 runner-up bag a 20-8 win which lasted for 14 minutes anew.
Bennyqt continued his consistent run in Game Three, providing four kills, a death, and eight assists in the quick 23-10 win in just 13 minutes and 53 seconds that pushed his side to match point.
He ended the series with a 0-2-7 KDA line.
