Wolf to lead TNC Pro Team in historic MPL PH coaching debut

By: Jan Marcus Montevirgen

TNC Pro Team officially announced that veteran shoutcaster Caisam “Wolf” Nopueto will spearhead the team’s upcoming campaign in the MPL Philippines Season 14.

The announcement came during the team’s roster reveal event at the Lust Nightclub in Quezon City on Sunday evening.

Wolf’s transition from shoutcasting to head coaching marks a historic first in MPL PH.

The veteran analyst has been at the casting desk since the first season of MPL PH and has had some coaching stints along the way, including his time as an assistant coach with ONIC PH from Seasons 6 to 8.

Under Wolf’s leadership, TNC aims to move up from the bottom of the standings and establish a stronger presence in the upcoming season, bolstered by the return of familiar faces and new talented players.

“Our achievable goal is to get into the playoffs, with our highest goal being fourth place,” said Wolf. “Of course, the ultimate goal is to be a champion, but realistically, top four is what we’re aiming for as a long-term goal.”

Shemaiah “SDzyz” Chu and Jomarie “Escalera” Santos will rejoin TNC after spending the past season with Team Occupy (MPL MENA) and Fnatic ONIC, respectively.

In addition, TNC signed former Minana EVOS standouts Ken “Kzen” Pile, Lance “LanceCy” Cunanan, and Salvick “Kouzen” Tolarba, who were recently released by the organization.

Mainstays Christian “HEADS” Morada and Jaylord “Hate” Gonzales will return to the lineup for the upcoming season.

Wolf’s coaching staff will include Jetson “Goyo” Ignacio and Patrick “E2MAX” Caidic.

Goyo will make his coaching debut, while E2MAX will embark on his third coaching stint, having coached Smart Omega during Season 11 and Fnatic ONIC PH in Season 13.
