Bren Esports legend CJ “Ribo” Ribo is set to enter a new chapter in his career.
After four years, the 27-year-old two-time MPL Philippines champion is set to represent a different organization after signing with Z4 Esports after a one-season break from the MPL Philippines, Thursday night.
Ribo started his career with Aether Main in Season One before spending the next seven seasons with Bren Esports.
He one the first of his two championships in Season One before winning the other in Season Six.
Ribo is also one of the winningest players in the history of the game with a world title, MSC championship, and a gold medal under his belt.
Z4 Esports is owned by Ribo’s good friend and fellow MLBB icon Billy “Z4pnu” Alfonso, who currently plays for Omega Esports.
According to Padilla, Ribo already asked for the management’s blessing last May. Bren Esports’ top brass immediately gave Ribo the green light and thanked him for his service throughout their four-year partnership.
“Ultimately, pinayagan siya ng bosses since matagal na rin naman yung service na nagawa niya sa Bren Esports and marami na rin siyang nabigay na titles for us,” Padilla told Tiebreaker Times.
