Nexplay trio reunion soon? Yawi, Renejay, H2wo exit teams

Tristan “Yawi” Cabrera, Renejay “Renejay” Barcase, and John Paul “H2Wo” Salonga have officially parted ways with their respective teams, further fueling reunion rumors that gained traction during one of Setsuna “Ako si Dogie” Ignacio’s livestreams.

The trio first made their debut in MPL Philippines Season 6 after topping Main Qualifier 2 while playing under Nexplay.

They last competed together in Season 8, before Yawi moved to ECHO the following season — eventually helping the team capture the M4 World Championship four seasons later.

Renejay and H2Wo stayed together until Season 10, after which H2Wo joined RSG Philippines, while Renejay transferred to Blacklist International in Season 11.

Yawi is coming off a strong Season 15 campaign, leading TNC Pro Team to its first playoff appearance since finishing third in Season 9.

Renejay, meanwhile, recently made back-to-back M-Series appearances with both Blacklist International and Aurora Gaming.

As for H2Wo, he is departing Smart Omega Neos following two seasons that were highlighted by consecutive top-four finishes in MDL Philippines.
