H2WO bids NXPE goodbye, excited for RSG Slate debut

John Paul “H2wo” Salonga turned emotional in a Facebook post as he thanked his former team Nexplay Evos after spending five seasons with the Dogie-led squad while also announcing his transfer to RSG Slate (formerly RSG Philippines).

H2wo said in the post.

H2wo entered the MPL scene when Nexplay emerged on top of the Season 6 qualifiers. His best finish with the squad was landing 4th in Season 8.

The star jungler and boyfriend of social media personality Mika Salamanca was part of the NXP popular trio together with Renejay “Renejay” Barcarse and Tristan “YAWI” Cabrera.

H2wo was the last to depart the team after Renejay announced his move to Blacklist International’s Sibol team last month while Yawi transferred to Echo in Season 9.

H2wo will be joining an RSG squad that will try to defend the MLBB Southeast Asian Cup title in Season 11. RSG finished 1st and 3rd during the last two seasons.
