PSL honors SMART Prepaid import Gyselle Silva

A scorer like never before

SMART Prepaid Giga Hitters import Gyselle Silva was honored by the Philippine Superliga prior to the knockout semifinals games on Tuesday at the Filoil Flying V Centre.

The 26-year-old spiker who hails from Cuba uncorked 56 points last April 7 in SMART Prepaid’s five-sets loss to the Cocolife Asset Managers.

With the feat, she now owns the third best feat in professional volleyball behind the 58 points of Polina Rahimova of Azerbaijan in 2015 and 57 points of Madison Kingdon of United States and Elitsa Vasileva of Bulgaria in 2017 and 2013, respectively.

Truly, Silva is a spiker like never before.
