Tots Carlos bags CGS MVP

Riddled with injuries for much of 2018, University of the Philippines Lady Maroons captain Tots Carlos ended the year with not only a championship, but the PSL Collegiate Grand Slam Most Valuable Player award as well.

Carlos towed the Lady Maroons in the Finals, scoring 17 points against the University of Santo Tomas. The Pampanga native also brought home the First Best Outside Spiker trophy.

Carlos’ teammate Aie Gannaban was named the First Best Middle Blocker, while Golden Tigresses captain Tin Francisco was the Second Best Middle Blocker.

Tigresses Eya Laure and Milena Alessandrini were recognized the Best Opposite Spiker and Best Scorer, respectively.

University of the East’s Kath Arado and Laizah Bendong were deemed the Best Libero and Best Setter. Lady Warrior Mary Anne Mendrez rounded out the awardees as the Second Best Outside Spiker.
