Creamline completes imports for Champions League roster

Creamline’s final puzzle pieces are in.

Just days before the 2025 AVC Champions League, the Cool Smashers have completed their lineup—bringing in two towering reinforcements to bolster their title bid on the continental stage.

The Cool Smashers have tapped Kazakh middle blocker Anastassiya Kolomoyets and Russian outside hitter Anastasya Kudryashova, completing their import trio in time for their Champions League campaign, which runs from April 20 to 27 at the Philsports Arena.

Both Kolomoyets and Kudryashova are fresh off a stint with VC Kuanysh in the Kazakhstan Women’s National League, where they suited up as teammates before taking their talents to the Philippines.

Head coach Sherwin Meneses confirmed that the two arrived in the country just past midnight last Sunday.

The 6-foot Kolomoyets and the 6-foot-4 Kudryashova will join American outside hitter Erica Staunton, who played a vital role in Creamline’s recent Premier Volleyball League Reinforced Conference title run.

Now with three battle-tested imports and the addition of veteran setter Rhea Dimaculangan, Creamline is going all out in its quest for redemption following a grueling 2024-25 PVL All-Filipino Conference campaign.

The Cool Smashers fell short of a historic five-peat, finishing as runners-up after a thrilling three-game finals series against Petro Gazz.
