Our Lady of Fatima University completed its run in the lower bracket finals to enter the grand finals of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Alliance Games by AcadArena, Sunday.
OLFU took out University of Batangas in the lower bracket semifinals, 2-0, to set up a date with Ateneo de Manila University in the losers’ finale.
LG Helios was coming off a 1-2 loss to University of Sto. Tomas in the upper bracket finals.
After establishing an early advantage over Ateneo in Game One, OLFU stepped on the gas and secured all four Lords of the contest, including the Evolved Lord in the 19:10-mark, to set up the game-winning siege.
Bardaje starred in the Game One win with three kills, a death, and six assists on his jungle Akai while Lonely Lansii provided six kills, a death, and three assists on Lunox in the 20-minute match.
During Game Two, Kimimoto’s timely rotations on Mathilda allowed OLFU to take a commanding 9K gold advantage inside the first 13 minutes while also securing the first two Lords of the match.
Ino’s Terizla then wasted no time in the final siege, scoring a double kill on kyle so gwapo (Thamuz) and Antianara (Rafaela) to power a three-man wipe that eventually sealed the win for OLFU.
OLFU’s exp laner finished with six kills and three assists without a single death while Kimimoto had a game-high 10 assists to go along with two kills in the 12-2 Game Two domination in just 13 minutes. The team also never yielded a turret throughout the match.
The team will take on University of Sto. Tomas in the grand finals in AcadArena’s CONQuest Festival this coming July 23 at the SMX Convention Center.
