Kiefer Ravena has filed multiple suits against alleged suspect Kristoffer Monico Ng including extortion, robbery, and violation of the Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012, Friday afternoon at the Quezon City Regional Trial Court.
Ravena, 23, is being represented by Atty. Martin Loon and Atty. Bam Santos of the law firm Aquende, Yebra, Aniag, Loon, and Associates (AYALA Law).
“The cases have been filed with the prosecutor today, and upon the approval of the City Chief Prosecutor, will be filed in court,” Atty. Martin Loon told Tiebreaker Times.
Loon remains mum on the specifics of the case due to the rule governing what public statements can be made about ongoing legal proceedings.
“Although we cannot speak on the merits and details of the case, we will pursue this case all the way until the end and until justice is served,” Loon explained.
Ng is currently in police custody after an entrapment operation in Libis, Quezon City last Wednesday. Ravena is alleging that the suspect tried to extort money amounting to PHP 50,000.00 from the young cager in exchange for the “lewd” photos Ravena had allegedly sent to be kept private.
Besides Ng, it is still under investigation whether there are other personalities involved in the said case.
“There may be others involved. That angle is currently being investigated,” Loon added.
In addition, Ravena and his camp are requesting privacy during this time.
“We also hope Mr. Ravena be given his privacy during this trying time,” the camp shared.
The courts have yet to schedule the first hearing of the case.
