Team Liquid PH dominates Ultra Legends, one win away from MSC Playoffs

Team Liquid PH came out swinging, dispatching Egypt’s Ultra Legends with a swift 2-0 sweep to move within one win of a playoff berth in the MLBB Mid Season Cup (MSC) 2025 on Wednesday in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Ultra Legends put up a spirited fight in Game 1, going toe-to-toe with the reigning MPL PH champions and even securing the first Turtle of the match to grab an early 2-1 kill lead.

However, TLPH capitalized on their mid-game power spike to shift the momentum. Karl “KarlTzy” Nepomuceno led the charge with a standout performance on his signature Lancelot, posting a 7-1-8 KDA en route to a 13-minute victory.

In Game 2, TLPH quickly turned the tide after Osama “Throwboy” Saleh’s Joy picked up two early kills. A decisive 5-for-none wipeout in a 6th-minute midlane clash gave the Filipinos full control.

Kiel “Oheb” Soriano sealed the deal with a Maniac on Harith in the final moments, as Team Liquid PH wrapped up the series in just 11 minutes.

TLPH will next face the winner between Indonesia’s ONIC Esports and Cambodia’s CFU Gaming for a shot at securing a playoff spot.
