Team Liquid’s acquisition of the MPL Philippines franchise ECHO felt like a dream come true for Karl “KarlTzy” Nepomuceno, who used to idolize the team’s DOTA 2 superstars.
Team Liquid na rin ako,” KarlTzy told Tiebreaker Times in an exclusive interview.
He singled out Jordanian-Polish player Amer “Miracle-” Al-Barkawi, who was Team Liquid’s midlaner from 2016 to 2019, as the player who mesmerized him when he was playing DOTA 2.
He added that he also looks up to the team’s current midlaner, Michał “Nisha” Jankowski.
Now finally leading the way for Team Liquid’s MLBB squad, KarlTzy reveals he doesn’t feel any pressure in representing the organization’s name known for winning championships in major tournaments like The International 2017 and the China Dota2 Supermajor in 2018.
