Jamie Lim, Agatha Wong link up for IG Live show ‘PUSO: The Battle Against COVID-19’

Two of Philippine martial arts’ bright young stars, Jamie Lim of Karate and Agatha Wong of Wushu, have joined hands to help those hit by the crippling effects of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic.

The Southeast Asian Games gold medalists announced on Instagram their collaboration for a fund-raising drive for the benefit of PUIs in health facilities and Philippine General Hospital, called “PUSO: The Battle Against COVID-19.”

And the two will do so by conducting a discussion about sports, health, and current updates via Instagram Live.

The interactive campaign will run for five episodes and will air on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Each episode will air for 30 minutes and will have a theme that they’ll discuss — requests for topics are welcome also.

In their posts, Wong and Lim said that they will be coordinating with the beneficiary health facilities regarding their needs to clearly procure what they can provide and then send it.

The two also vowed transparency as they will post monetary updates on their respective platforms every week.
