Ex-Green Archer Ramil Tero transfers to San Sebastian

Finally, some good news for the San Sebastian College Recoletos Golden Stags.

After an exodus that saw the majority of their student-athletes either transfer schools or go pro and join the MPBL, the Golden Stags were able to score a coup, as former DLSU Green Archer Ramil Tero has decided to join them.

The development was confirmed by Tero himself on social media platform Twitter.

Tero, who started his collegiate career with St. Clare College, was one of the highly-touted recruits of Aldin Ayo back in the UAAP Season 80 Men’s Basketball tournament. But the feisty floor general only saw limited playing time, totaling just 34 minutes and 10 points during his rookie season.

With an abundance of recruits (like Kurt Lojera and Jordan Bartlett) and a new head coach, Tero was let go by the school.

He will have a new opportunity however to lead a squad, as the Golden Stags are badly in need of a point guard after the departure of Renzo Navarro (Lyceum) and Ryan Costelo (MPBL).

Tero will undergo a one year residency before being eligible to play come the NCAA Season 95 Seniors Basketball Tournament.
