F2 Logistics Cargo Mover Cha Cruz-Behag will be away from volleyball until at least 2020, as she and husband Ray Behag are expecting their first child.
Cruz-Behag revealed her pregnancy through an Instagram post, Friday morning. The 2018 National Team open hitter had been on F2 Logistics’ injured list since the start of the 2019 Philippine Superliga Grand Prix.
As she admitted to onemega.com, Cruz-Behag found being sidelined as a silver lining as she found an easier time fostering a lifestyle for conception.
“We were thankful, happy, excited, and afraid all at the same time,” the 30-year-old spiker told One Mega. She also revealed that she was diagnosed hyperthyroidism in 2017, an obstacle she needed to hurdle to get pregnant.
The two-time UAAP Finals MVP with De La Salle University is expecting to give birth by October this year. Her Cargo Movers are currently battling in the Grand Prix, having moved to the semifinals after beating Foton.
