PLDT has added another decorated setter to complement Rhea Dimaculangan.
Kim Fajardo has signed with the High Speed Hitters the team announced on Friday.
Fajardo, 30, is a six-time PSL Best Setter, steering F2 Logistics to multiple championships in the defunct league.
But after seven years with the team, the La Salle great is embarking on a new chapter after the disbandment of the Cargo Movers.
And she is looking forward to it.
“Gusto kong ma-challenge sa bagong systema. Gusto ko pang matuto,” she said.
The past few years have been challenging for Fajardo, suffering numerous injuries.
With PLDT, she is looking not just to get healthy but also to steer the franchise to its first-ever pro title.
“Gusto kong maibalik ‘yung dati kong kundisyon. Kayang kaya pa basta with the proper mindset and the guidance of my new coaches and teammates. Nakaka-excite lang isipin na bago lahat.”
