After successful first season, Chatri Sityodtong looks forward to next ‘Apprentice’

With “The Apprentice: ONE Championship Edition” in the books, ONE Chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong is already on the lookout for what’s next.

After 13 grueling episodes, Venezuelan sales director Jessica Ramella ended up being “The One”. She bagged the US$250,000 contract and became Sityodtong’s Chief Of Staff and “Apprentice” for a year.

Ramella edged out Filipino candidate Louie Sangalang and 14 others, surviving the season full of tiring physical challenges and mentally draining business tasks.

But that’s a thing of the past now, as Sityodtong looks toward the future.

“When we do Season Two of ‘The Apprentice,’ it will have an entirely different twist and a different flavor from Season One,” Sityodtong said.

There has been no announcement on what the next “Apprentice” might look like. But Sityodtong shared that like ONE Championship, the show will continue to grow, evolve, and be better than the first one.

It might be tough to top this season considering the groundbreaking twists that ONE has brought to the world-famous reality show. Sityodtong and his team, though, are certainly up to the challenge.

“Our ethos at ONE Championship is that we are always looking for ways to learn, grow, evolve, and improve. With that spirit, the show will be bigger, better, and badder than Season 1.”

Fans watching at home might’ve felt surprised at what Jessica had to go through to get the job offer. However, this has always been the case for the organization when it comes to its hiring process.

While there are no World Champions testing out the physical capabilities of hopefuls, Sityodtong shares that applicants go through the same stringent process and get measured by the highest of standards.

“The whole ‘Apprentice’ process was very much like the interview process at ONE Championship — or even the way we work at ONE Championship,” Sityodtong said.

“We only give out one job for every 200 applicants, but that’s also why only the very best of superstars can not only survive but thrive in ONE Championship. Because we have a high standard of excellence, passion, and a real sense of purpose.”
