TNC retains core as Yasuwo moves to coaching role

TNC retained its core, led by Ben “Benthings” Maglaque, for the upcoming MPL Philippines Season 12, as announced by the team on Monday night.

The 27-year-old roamer will be entering his fifth season with TNC and his fourth as the team captain.

Completing the squad’s six-man roster for Season 12 are King “K1NGKONG” Perez, Vincent “Innocent” Banal, Jetson “Goyo” Ignacio, Kristofer “Hesu” Calderon, and Mark Laurence “Bao” Cabigting.

Meanwhile, Jemson “Scholar” Ignacio will retain his position as the team’s head coach following the departure of Lawrence “Lift” Ruiz.

Robee “Yasuwo” Pormocille, who has been with the team since Season 9, will now transition to a coaching role and serve as Scholar’s assistant.

In the last Season 11, TNC finished 7th-8th for the second consecutive season.

Jomarie “Jomarie” Escalera and Mark “Kramm” Rusiana have already transferred to ONIC PH, while Kenneth “Saxa” Fedellin moved overseas and signed with MPL Malaysia’s Team SMG.
