Ces Molina and Riri Meneses have finally made a decision.
The former Cignal stars signed with Farm Fresh after months of speculation, boosting the team with their veteran presence and winning pedigree as they continue to adapt to the system implemented by new Italian head coach Alessandro Lodi.
Molina said she is eager to start fresh with the Foxies and expressed her excitement to return to action, having last played in a Premier Volleyball League match in December last year.
“It’s nice to have a new opportunity. It’s a fresh start for me and the thought of it excites me,” said the former conference MVP.
“Breadwinner din kasi ako. And now na makakalaro na ulit sa PVL, tuloy lang sa pagtulong sa family which is very important din for me,” she added.
Meanwhile, Meneses said she feels thrilled to join Farm Fresh, especially with the opportunity to reunite with former HD Spikers teammate Rachel Daquis.
“Passion kasi namin ito kaya happy na maglalaro na kami ulit after months,” said Meneses.
“Looking forward ako makalaro ulit sila Ate Rachel (Daquis) and at the same time, makasama for the first time ‘yung ibang players. Sana makatulong ako lalo sa mga bata,” added the three-time PVL Best Middle Blocker.
In a surprise move, Molina and Meneses opted not to renew their contracts with Cignal in the middle of the 2024–25 PVL All-Filipino Conference last January, ending a fruitful three-year stint with the squad.
Molina averaged 12.0 points, 6.0 digs, and 4.4 excellent receptions in five games during the recent conference. Meanwhile, Meneses tallied 7.4 points per outing.
