Akari displayed remarkable composure under pressure, rallying past Farm Fresh in a five-set thriller, 25-22, 25-27, 22-25, 25-23, 15-12, to secure its second straight win in the 2026-27 PVL All-Filipino Conference Siklab Series on Tuesday at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium in Manila.
Fresh off a statement sweep of the PLDT High Speed Hitters, the Chargers once again showcased their resilience, overcoming a two-set deficit to level their record at 2-2. The victory also created a three-way tie for fourth place among Akari, the Foxies, and the Capital1 Solar Spikers.
Akari will look to sustain its momentum when it faces Galeries Tower next Tuesday, November 3, at the SMART Araneta Coliseum.
Meanwhile, Farm Fresh will aim to bounce back against ZUS Coffee on November 5 at the Philsports Arena in Pasig.
