TNC parts ways with Lift ahead of Vrendon takeover

TNC officially announced the release of head coach Laurence “Lift” Ruiz, Saturday afternoon.

The development became official a day after Cerebrum Esports announced that its former head coach, Vrendon “Vrendon” Lin, will take over the coaching reins for TNC.

Lift made it to the MPL Philippines after steering the rookie-laden Work Auster Force squad to the Season Seven qualifiers.

TNC then acquired the team in time for the franchised-based Season Eight, where the team performed below expectations.

Coming off a strong Season Seven campaign, TNC had a rough campaign in Season Eight. There, they finished dead-last with a 4-14 win-loss standing.

In his two seasons in the league, Lift had a 12-19 regular-season record with the team while also putting up a 1-1 slate in the playoffs.

TNC already released key players Dylan “Light” Catipon, Patrick “P-GOD” Ibarra, and Douglas “ImbaDeejay” Astibe.
