It’s not just Cholo Anonuevo whom Tennessee State is targetting.
Filipino-Hawaiian Sage Tolentino also received an offer from Tigers head coach Penny Collins.
Both Tolentino and Anonuevo have been training together under East West Private.
Tolentino, a 7-foot, 16-year-old prospect, is just entering his junior year and is part of the 2022 class.
The Gilas Youth prospect, who is studying in Maryknoll High School, posted norms of 13.5 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 3.5 blocks per game during the 2019-20 season of the HHSAA.
Tennessee State is a Div I team competing in the Ohio Valley Conference.
The Tigers were supposed to compete in the 2020 CollegeInsider.com Postseason Tournament, but the event was cancelled due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
Other Division 1 schools that have expressed interest in getting Tolentino are Kansas, Kentucky and Auburn.
