Omega dealt second loss in ONE: MWI by GPX

Omega Esports suffered its second loss in the ONE Esports Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Women’s Invitational following a rout at the hands of GPX Basreng on Friday afternoon.

Banking on the late-game prowess of Keishi’s Aldous, Omega Esports failed to recover from GPX’s aggressive playstyle. This prevented the SMART-backed squad from reaching its power spike – the main reason for the loss.

Keishi did well in the early goings of the match but ended up with three kills – Omega’s total for the whole match. She also had three deaths in just 10 minutes and 55 seconds of action.

Meraaay (Lolita) was held to five deaths, while Shinoa (Brody) was also clamped with two assists and three deaths.

It was a tough loss for Omega, who was coming off a huge win over Impunity Scarlet yesterday.

Earl led the Indonesians with a game-high 14 assists along with four kills on Mathilda. Meanwhile, Chincaaw (Popol and Kupa) and Funi (Cecilion) added seven and four kills, respectively.

Omega Esports dropped to fourth place in Group A with a 1-2 standing while GPX kept the top spot with a perfect 3-0 standing.

The Empresses are now in a must-win situation against Karra later in the day.
