Michael “Arcadia” Bocado’s RRQ Hoshi advanced to the upper bracket semifinals after sweeping Todak, 3-0, in the M4 World Championship quarterfinals, Sunday at the Tennis Indoor Stadium Senayan.
Albert “Alberttt” Iskandar powered the King of Kings to a 2-0 start following dominant performances in Games One and Two.
He notched five kills and seven assists against two deaths on Fanny in the 18-9 Game One win before putting up a 12-2-5 line on Hayabusa in the team’s 29-22 Game Two win which lasted for 26 minutes and 43 seconds of action.
The Indonesian squad then fended off the Malaysian team after 20 minutes in Game Three to complete the sweep. Alberttt once again delivered with seven kills and seven assists against one death on Ling.
RRQ Hoshi will go up against the winner of the RRQ Akira-Blacklist International quarterfinals match-up in the semis on Wednesday, 7:00 PM.
