It seems that Jason Brickman playing in the Philippine Basketball Association will just be a dream.
The 6-foot Filipino-American floor general will skip the 2022 PBA Rookie Draft set on May 15, multiple sources closely monitoring the situation told Tiebreaker Times.
The sources added that Brickman has already signed a three-year deal with T1 team Kaohsiung.
With this, Brickman no longer has a chance to play in the PBA.
In a new rule by the league that is enforced starting this year, Filipino-foreigners above the age of 30 are no longer eligible to join the draft.
Brickman turns 31 on November 19.
Brickman has been spectacular in his first year in Kaohsiung, norming 13.5 points, a league-high 9.8 assists, 5.3 rebounds, and 2.21 steals per contest.
The Aquas are currently the top seed heading into the playoffs.
