James Laput signs three-year deal with Terrafirma

Terrafirma sees James Laput as one of its pillars for the future.

With this, the Dyip gave the 6-foot-9 big man a three-year rookie deal, Thursday afternoon.

The signing took place at Terra Firma realty’s office in Makati.

Also present were Titan Management Group’s PJ Pilares and Terrafirma governor Bobby Rosales.

Laput was the tallest player to enter the 2021 PBA Draft.

He is a product of Division II school Young Harris College, before going to De La Salle University.

Laput was able to find his form with Big Boss Cement-Porac in the 2020 Chooks-to-Go Pilipinas 3×3 President’s Cup.

“I intend to master in the role given to me,” said Laput during an episode of The Prospects Pod powered by SMART.

“Stay in my lane and especially, learn to play with and against people better than me.”
