After weeks on the sidelines due to an ankle injury, Aaron Fuller will finally suit up for Blackwater.
Multiple reports have said that the Elite activated the 6-foot-5 import on Thursday, and he will finally make his debut Friday as they take on Khapri Alston and the Columbian Dyip.
Fuller will take over the chores from Marqus Blakely, whom Backwater have reportedly relegated to the injured/reserve list.
The former NLEX reinforcement is Blackwater’s initial choice for the 2019 PBA Governors’ Cup. He had already been practicing for weeks, until he hurt his ankle during a session.
Fuller did not play in the Elite’s East Asia Super League-The Terrific 12 campaign in Macau. The team were forced to bring in Blakely on short notice to pair up with center Alex Stepheson.
Blakely played in the Elite’s first three games this conference, including their 107-98 win over NorthPort last week. There, he had 13 points, seven rebounds, eight blocks, seven assists, and a steal.
Fuller will be reinforcing a Blackwater team that’s looking to keep their winning ways and improve their 1-2 card.
