Aurora retains core five for MPL PH 15

By: Jan Marcus Montevirgen

Aurora has retained its core five-man roster for the upcoming MPL Philippines Season 15.

Hall of Legends inductee Edward “Edward” Dapadap, Renejay “Renejay” Barcarse, Kenneth “Yue” Tadeo, Jan “Domengkite” Del Mundo, and Jonard “Demonkite” Caranto will continue as the team’s starting lineup.

Meanwhile, Justin “Calad” Limbo will take on the role of the team’s lone substitute and analyst following Ben “Benthings” Maglaque’s departure on January 9.

Calad previously served as an analyst for Blacklist International from Seasons 11 to 13, contributing to the team’s two runner-up finishes and a fourth-place standing.

Aniel “Master the Basics” Jiandani and Dexter “DEX STAR” Alaba will remain at the helm as coaches, looking to build on Aurora’s impressive debut last season, where they finished as runners-up.

After a heartbreaking 12th-14th place finish at the M6 World Championship, Aurora is determined to make another international appearance, setting its sights on the 2025 Mid-Season Cup.
