Team Falcons PH acquires AP Bren roster

By: Jan Marcus Montevirgen

Team Falcons PH has acquired the roster of AP.Bren for their upcoming campaign in the Snapdragon Pro Series Season 6 – Challenge Finals, set to take place from February 10 to 16 in Johor, Malaysia.

The announcement was made on Saturday evening through the team’s official social media pages.

Leading the squad is team captain Angelo “Pheww” Arcangel, alongside Michael “KyleTzy” Sayson, Rowgien “Owgwen” Unigo, Marco “Super Marco” Requitiano, David “FlapTzy” Canon, and Vincent “Pando” Unigo.

Also making the move is former AP.Bren assistant coach Robert “Trebor” Sanchez.

Notably, head coach Francis “Duckey” Glindro was not part of the transfer. The one-time MPL PH champion coach has yet to announce his next move.

AP.Bren’s core roster has been a dominant force in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang scene, securing multiple championship titles from 2023 to 2024. Their success led to a partnership with Team Falcons last year.

Among their achievements, the squad captured the Philippines’ third consecutive gold medal in the Southeast Asian Games. They continued their dominance in MPL Philippines Season 12, defeating Blacklist International 4-1 in a thrilling grand finals series.

On the international stage, AP.Bren showcased their resilience, winning the country’s fourth international title at the M5 World Championship. In a grueling seven-game series against ONIC Indonesia, they emerged victorious with a 4-3 scoreline.

Despite their success, the team faced setbacks in both local and international tournaments. In MPL PH Season 13, they fell short in the grand finals, suffering a 4-0 sweep against Liquid ECHO (now Team Liquid PH).

Their struggles continued in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Mid-Season Cup, where they narrowly lost a seven-game grand finals series to the Selangor Red Giants.

The team wrapped up the year with a third-place finish in MPL PH Season 14, bowing out to Aurora in the lower bracket finals.
