PVL: Creamline stays unstoppable, rolls past Farm Fresh for 19th straight win

Creamline’s dominant run in the 2024-25 PVL All-Filipino Conference continued unabated, securing its ninth straight win with a commanding 25-15, 25-19, 27-25 victory over Farm Fresh on Tuesday at the Philsports Arena in Pasig City.

The Cool Smashers moved just two wins away from sweeping the preliminary round with a perfect 9-0 record.

They also extend their dominant winning streak to 19 games, dating back to the 2024 Reinforced Conference.

“Siyempre ‘yung experience namin sa mga ganitong laban, nandiyan palagi. Happy kami at naka-recover kami sa dikitang laban kasi lumamang pa ‘yung Farm Fresh. ‘Yung breaks sa huli, nakuha namin nung third set,” said Creamline head coach Sherwin Meneses.

The Foxies showed renewed energy in the third set, with Alyssa Bertolano and Caitlin Viray leading the charge.

They kept pace with the Cool Smashers, forcing an extended frame. However, the Grand Slam champions displayed their composure in crunch time to close out the match in just one hour and 45 minutes.

Locked at 25-all, Creamline turned to Jema Galanza. She first delivered a sharp crosscourt kill before sealing the sweep with a perfectly placed service ace that dropped right at the end line.

Galanza led all scorers with 15 points, tallying 12 attacks, two aces, and a block.

Alyssa Valdez made an impact on both ends with eight points, 12 excellent digs, and nine excellent receptions.

Kyle Negrito orchestrated the offense with 15 excellent sets while also chipping in eight points.

Bernadeth Pons contributed seven points in just one set of action, while Tots Carlos also recorded seven points. Pangs Panaga added five points, all coming from blocks.
