Caloy Yulo, as expected, took another gold in Doha, Qatar.
The reigning World champion in vault annexed the Asian title after topping the apparatus final of the said event with a combined 14.850 points at the 9th Senior Artistic Gymnastics Asian Championships, Saturday at the Aspire Dome.
Yulo opened up with his signature solid take on the Dragulescu which garnered him 14.900, followed by a well-executed Lopez for 14.800.
Shiga Tachibana of Japan took the silver, while Kim Hansol of South Korea ended with the bronze.
Yulo looks to close his Asian Championships with yet another medal when he takes on the parallel bars apparatus final later.
