Former Ilocos Sur governor Chavit Singson has taken a significant step to promote love and forgiveness within the Yulo family, amid ongoing tensions.
Singson recently visited Carlos Yulo and his family – father Andrew, sister Angelica, and siblings Elaiza and Eldrew – offering his support to help mend their strained relationships.
The Yulo family has faced internal conflicts since last year, a rift that intensified following Carlos’s impressive victory at the Olympic Games Paris 2024, where he secured two gold medals.
Singson believes that no amount of success should overshadow love and respect among family members.
He emphasized that forgiveness, understanding, and compassion should always take precedence within Filipino families.
With Christmas fast approaching, Singson expressed hope that the Yulos would provide the nation with a gift more precious than gold: the gift of family unity.
During his recent visit, he presented the Yulo family with a pre-Yuletide gift of ₱1 million.
Like the entire nation, Singson hopes that the Yulos can find their way back to each other.
