Yowe struggles as Execration bows to BOOM in TI10 Qualifiers

Yuri “Yowe” Pacana struggled all throughout the series as Execration suffered a 1-2 reverse sweep at the hands of BOOM Esports in The International 10 Southeast Asia regional qualifiers, Wednesday evening.

The loss dropped Execration to the lower bracket. They will face 496 Gaming.

Execration dragged Game Three up until late game but still ended up losing the match. Both Yowe (Puck) and Nikko “Nikko” Bilacura (Underlord) failed to reinforce carry Jinn “Palos” Lomatao’s Phantom Lancer.

A kill on Yowe and Palos after the 61-minute mark forced Execration to call GG.

Palos ended with six kills, six deaths, and eight assists, while Yowe was held to nine kills, nine deaths, and 14 assists. Nikko had seven kills, six deaths, and 11 assists in the 30-49 Game Three loss.

On the other hand, Randy Muhammad “Dreamocel” Sapoetra was a man on a mission for BOOM Esports. He tallied monster numbers of 19 kills and 13 assists against just two deaths.

With Yowe’s Invoker struggling in Game One, Palos’ Juggernaut singlehandedly lifted the squad to a 27-15 victory over the Indonesians.

Palos’ well-farmed Juggernaut a massive 39,299 net worth on the 50:06-minute match, finishing with a total of eight kills and 12 assists against just two deaths for Execration. He ended the match with Battle Fury, Sange and Yasha, Aether Lens, Swift Blink, Satanic, and Eye of Skadi.

Despite holding down Yowe and Nikko (Dragon Knight) in the early stage, BOOM Esports fell late in the match. It failed to contain the Execration assault led by Palos.

Execration, however, could not sustain their fine start. They fell to BOOM Esports in Game Two with Rafli Fathur “Mikoto” Rahman’s Templar Assassin spearheading the 18-9 win in just under 30 minutes.
