OhMyV33nus no longer surprised at opposition’s banlist vs Blacklist

Often the target of bans for almost half a year, Johnmar “OhMyV33NUS” Villaluna is no longer surprised to see his best heroes canceled out in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League-Philippines Season Eight.

According to the veteran support player, it has gotten to a point that he’ll be even more surprised if teams decided to open heroes such as Estes, Angela, Rafaela, and Mathilda.

“Sobrang nasanay na lang din kami na ganun na yun ginagawa ng ibang teams. So siguro ano, ako personally nasasanay na ako ‘di na ako nagugulat,” said the Queen. “Basta sanay na ako so hindi na nakakabigla.

“Parang umabot na kami sa point na mas magugulat pa kami kung hindi sila magba-ban ng hero ko.”

On Saturday night, Bren Esports only took out the Estes and Popol and Kupa during Game One. This led to a dominant Game One win for Blacklist with OhMyV33NUS’s Mathilda nabbing the SMART 5G MVP.

The world champions then exhausted all their bans on OhMyV33NUS’ comfort heroes in Game Two, banning Estes, Popol and Kupa, Mathilda, Angela, and Rafaela, respectively in Game Two. However, it was not enough as OhMyV33NUS got his hands on Diggie as Blacklist International closed out the series via a sweep.

Still, despite the teams’ banning spree, Blacklist International jungler Danerie “Wise” Del Rosario revealed that they are still practicing the heroes just in case other teams leave it open.

“Lahat ng hero [ni Vee] na naba-ban pinapractice pa rin namin in case na maopen.”

Blacklist International (5-0), who tied ONIC PH (4-1) at the top spot with 12 points each, will look to break the deadlock against the same squad tomorrow at 6:00 PM.
