Blacklist International has announced its departure from MPL Philippines, marking the conclusion of its five-year journey in the professional Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) scene.
The announcement was made public on Tuesday afternoon through their social media channels.
Throughout their time in MPL PH, Blacklist International not only solidified their legacy as one of the region’s most successful teams, but also played a pivotal role in establishing the Philippines as a dominant force on the international MLBB stage.
The team helped elevate the country’s standing by claiming multiple international tournament titles, including being crowned champions at the M3 World Championships.
They also finished as runners-up in the M4 World Championships and secured third place at the M5 World Championships.
Supported by Tier One, Blacklist International earned a second-place finish at the Mobile Legends: Southeast Asia Cup (MSC) 2021, where they were narrowly defeated by Execration in the grand finals with a 4-1 scoreline.
In the MPL PH, Blacklist won multiple championship titles, including in MPL Seasons 7, 8, and 10. They also finished as runners-up in MPL Seasons 11 and 12, and placed fourth in Seasons 13 and 14.
The team made several appearances in the MPL Invitational between 2020 and 2023, where they finished in 9th-12th, 2nd, and 5th-6th places in respective years.
In their farewell announcement, Blacklist International revealed that their MPL PH franchise slot would be transferred to another organization. As of this writing, it remains uncertain which team will acquire the slot.
