MPL PH fines ONIC for violation of roster change rules

MPL Philippines announced on Thursday that it will impose a fine on ONIC PH regarding the release of Edgard “Choox” Dumali.

ONIC PH violated section 6.1 of General Roster Change Rules which states that ‘teams are not allowed to unilaterally terminate Player Service Agreement arbitrarily.’

Still, the league has decided to accept the organization’s decision to let go of the popular stream.

The reason behind Choox’s termination was not disclosed.

ONIC PH is currently tied with Omega Esports at the second spot with identical 3-1 standings.
