Ara Galang further boosts loaded Chery Tiggo

Ara Galang has chosen her new home.

The prolific 5-foot-7 spiker from Angeles City, Pampanga, has signed with Chery Tiggo. The Crossovers made the announcement on Tuesday.

In Chery Tiggo, she joins a plethora of spikers, headlined by former league MVP Mylene Paat, the Laure sisters, Princess Robles, and Pauline Gaston.

“I’m very thankful kasi may opportunity na ganito na maglaro sa Chery, and super excited din kasi unang-una, first time ko lang din (na) makakasama ng iba talaga, so pumunta ako sa team na wala gaanong kakilala,” she said.

“‘Yung kilala ko lang, si Buding (Duremdes) tsaka si ate Mylene Paat. Excited akong makatrabaho at makalaro ‘yung mga bata.”

Galang, 28, spent the last seven years with F2 Logistics.

However, the company decided to disband its team, the Cargo Movers, last month.

Galang is excited about what lies ahead as she starts a new chapter in her career.

“All-out naman ako lagi, so ibibigay ko ‘yung best ko every training, every game, every day. Gagawin ko lang lahat ng makakaya ko para maka-contribute, makatulong sa team,” she said.

“Message ko sa supporters ko, maraming salamat sa lahat ng suporta ninyo and sa pagmamahal, and I hope magkita-kita’t magsama-sama pa tayo sa journey ko dito sa Chery. Sa Chery fans, excited akong ma-meet kayo and sana suportahan ninyo ako at kaming lahat para sa magandang future natin.”
