SOURCES: Star set to replace Malcolm Hill

Malcolm Hill’s days in the PBA are about to end, as the Star Hotshots have decided to part ways with the 21-year-old guard-forward, sources closely monitoring the situation told Tiebreaker Times, Friday morning.

According to the source, Hill is set to be replaced by Kristofer Acox, an Iceland-born cager who played for Furman University in the United States. The 23-year-old forward is also a member of Iceland’s national team.

Hill, who was also the Hotshots’ replacement for Cinmeon Bowers, averaged decent numbers of 25.0 points and 11.7 rebounds in the six games he played. But Star are currently on a three-game skid after a 4-0 start.

It is still uncertain whether the former University of Illinois producer will play his last game for Star later tonight at 7:00 PM against the Globalport Batang Pier at the SMART Araneta Coliseum, or if Acox will suit up immediately.
